These Terms govern your use of the Borderless Self application and related services. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. The Website Terms below apply to borderlessself.com. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

Description of service

Borderless Self provides document organization and family document management, expiry reminders, profile and résumé guidance, country and pathway research, job discovery, Living cost-of-living research and personal planning, Bongi planning tools, and subscription-based premium features. Features and data availability vary by location, device, operating system, and subscription.

Borderless Self is an information and planning service. It is not a government authority, law firm, visa processing agency, recruitment agency, or employment placement service. It does not provide legal, immigration, tax, financial, medical, or other regulated professional advice. Consult qualified professionals and official sources before acting on important decisions.

Your account, documents, and family information

Provide accurate information, keep your account secure, use the service lawfully, and upload only content you have the right to use. For family members’ documents, obtain their permission or hold another valid legal authority. A parent or legal guardian must have authority to manage a child’s records. The app is designed for adult account holders; family features do not create independent child accounts.

You retain your rights in your documents and other content. You authorize us and our service providers to process that content as needed to provide the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy. Keep independent copies of original documents. An uploaded document, reminder, checklist tick, or readiness score is not confirmation of authenticity, validity, completeness, or acceptance by an authority. You remain responsible for deadlines and required evidence.

Country matches and résumé guidance

Country, pathway, and job relevance indicators are estimates based on the available data and information in your profile. A score or “match” is not a probability of approval, a legal eligibility determination, or a promise of employment. Requirements change and may depend on details that the app does not assess.

Résumé extraction and suggestions can contain errors or omissions. Review the suggested information before saving it to your profile or using it in an application. Do not invent experience, credentials, or qualifications. Improving profile completeness does not guarantee a visa, interview, job offer, or recognition of professional credentials.

Jobs, sponsorship, and external applications

Job listings and employer information are supplied by third parties, including Fantastic.jobs. Listings may be incomplete, duplicated, outdated, or withdrawn. Sponsorship and remote-work labels reflect available listing data or signals and must be checked directly with the employer. A remote role does not necessarily permit work from every country. A sponsorship indication does not establish that an employer will sponsor your circumstances or that you qualify for a work visa.

Searchable countries do not imply that current roles are available in every country or profession. Saving a role or following an employer does not submit an application. Applications made on an external website are governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy. Verify the employer, role, location restrictions, work authorization, and application instructions before sharing personal information or making commitments.

Living data, estimates, and planning calculations

Living combines third-party research, including Numbeo, with the assumptions you choose for planning. Prices, rents, salaries, safety perceptions, healthcare, education, and lifestyle indicators are general research information. Coverage, sample sizes, methodology, observation dates, and update frequency vary by source and city. A provider’s average or perception score is not a quotation, an official determination, or a guarantee about your own experience.

Check the source attribution, dates, units, currency, and limitations shown with the data. Figures may be cached rather than live. Blank or unavailable categories mean missing coverage, not a zero cost. Country-level figures do not necessarily describe a particular city or neighborhood. Unless explicitly shown otherwise, figures remain in their source currency and no exchange-rate conversion is applied.

Personal planner totals are estimates for the items and quantities selected. They may exclude taxes, visa fees, deposits, moving costs, insurance, emergencies, or other household expenses. A remaining-budget calculation does not certify that a destination is affordable or that an income or financial requirement is met. Obtain current quotes and check official requirements before committing to a move.

Bongi planning and AI suggestions

Bongi helps organize journeys, prepare checklists, answer planning prompts, and draft text. AI generation is available only where the supported Apple on-device model is available; guided planning can be used without it. AI output can be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Review every suggestion and draft, including names, dates, requirements, and factual statements, before relying on or sharing it.

In version 1.4, Bongi does not retrieve or verify live visa requirements, determine eligibility, submit visa or job applications, send messages, book travel or appointments, make payments, or monitor changes in the background. Official-source links are starting points for your own checks. Completing a checklist records your progress, not approval or professional review. You decide whether and where to share a draft; no application or message is automatically sent on your behalf.

Subscriptions, purchases, and refunds

Certain features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. The purchase screen describes the price, billing period, duration, and included access. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel them through your Apple account settings. Deleting your Borderless Self account or uninstalling the app does not itself cancel a subscription.

Relocation Pass purchases provide access for the limited duration described at purchase. Purchases are processed through Apple App Store billing systems; refund requests are subject to Apple’s policies and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer rights.

Availability and third-party services

Features, data coverage, and providers may change, be interrupted, or become unavailable. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features subject to applicable law and any obligations associated with paid access. A subscription does not guarantee a particular number of jobs, complete country data, continuous refreshes, or AI availability on every device. External employers, authorities, advisers, and data providers operate independently; their services may have separate terms and fees.

Intellectual property and permitted use

Borderless Self branding, software, design, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws. Third-party datasets and listings remain subject to their owners’ rights. Use research and listings for your own planning and job search. Do not bulk extract, resell, redistribute, or create a competing dataset from the service without the necessary permission. This does not restrict your rights in your own uploaded documents or information.

Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and research information are provided “as is” without guarantees of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, or suitability for a particular purpose. Borderless Self does not guarantee visa or residency approval, immigration success, employment placement, sponsorship, legal outcomes, personal safety, or actual living costs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Borderless Self is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunities, service interruptions, data loss, or immigration or relocation outcomes arising from use of the service. Nothing excludes liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Verify important information independently and obtain qualified advice where appropriate.

Termination, changes, and governing law

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, subject to applicable law. You may stop using the service and request account deletion in the app. Retention and deletion details are in the Privacy Policy; Apple subscriptions must be managed separately.

We may revise these Terms and will show the updated date and provide additional notice or obtain agreement where required. These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the operating entity is established, subject to any mandatory rights and protections that apply in your place of residence.
